Kauppi wins in Oslo

O-festivalen / World Cup round 3

Minna Kauppi took her second World Cup-victory this season. Marianne Andersen from Norway was the only one able to match her speed today.

Kauppi started hard and took the lead already on the first TV-control. After 25 minutes running, it was clear that Kappi’s lead of 40 seconds will be hard to beat.

Marianne Andersen’s last loop gave some hope for the Norwegian team, but the Finnish girl was unbeatable. Minna Kauupi took her second World Cup-victory this season, she used 34:34 on today’s middle distance.
